i am about to get so obnoxious y'all. this is your warning to block the “khr liveblog” tag right now.
anyways idk how much i’ll be able to get through before i lose patience, but here are some thoughts going into it:
some royal jewels were stolen from the louvre which is unfortunate for historical reasons but you gotta appreciate a classic crime. so many crimes are online these days it’s nice to see heist culture is still alive
anyways you guys understand that the whole situation around the “performative male” trend that’s happening on tiktok is hugely misogynistic, right? you understand that the concept of a “performative male” in the way that tiktok defines it, as well as people using it as an excuse to ridicule men is a method of enforcing traditional gender roles, right?
So i didn’t interact with this post because i don’t have the energy to argue with someone like this but guys look at this post i saw earlier:
Girliepop I don’t think you know what misogyny is….
buddy daddies/khr crossover where miri introduces her new girlfriend i-pin to her papas, and it isn’t until like a month later that they find out that the big brother she’s always talking about so fondly is the leader of italy’s most powerful mafia family (the way they find out is when a hitman shows up targetting i-pin, and the next day an apology gift basket shows up at their door, stamped with the vongola crest)
Oh yeah it’s asexual awareness week, so everyone has to pay attention to me even more than usual ❤️
a couple of times now in her notes in volumes 1 and 2 midorikawa-sensei has referred to to natsume as “plain” and “boring” and i’m like ma'am 😭😭😭 don’t be mean to my son 😭😭😭 he’s not boring i love him!
An excerpt of Midorikawa-sensei’s notes in volume 2 of Natsume Yuujinchou:
We used to have an artificial pond in our small yard. It was plain and surrounded by large rocks, about the size of two bathtubs, built by the people who had lived there previously. But it was empty, so I always used to imagine it filled with water. I begged my parents to fill it up once, but it wouldn’t stay filled for some reason.
I wonder if this is where the inspiration for Tanuma’s koi pond came from 🤭
Me: Okay improv class somebody give me an occupation. :)
Class: Dentist!
Me: okay, so in this scene you are going to be a dentist. :)
Child 1: WHY DID YOU STEAL MY TEETH!
Child 2, on the floor, sobbing: I’m so sorry! I sold them on the dark web. I’m in so much debt from medical college.
I ask myself this every day.
a significant problem with crafting is that once you make something you now have it forever. you can sidestep this by making gifts for people but well now they have the thing forever and there’s probably a limit to how many things they want. unless the thing you enjoy crafting is also a thing you want an infinite amount of there’s just no good solution here.
